I know this wasn't directed at me but I think the big difference this week is that Blythe, the subpar OL, and Goff are the reason this team can only score 20 points against the hapless Jets.
Sure it may not have been Blythe's fault on those critical plays but we should be scoring 35+ against this team and he is one of the reasons we can't.
Of course the defense was bad too so it was an all phase failure but long term the most concerning thing to me is what this game says about the state of the offense.
It's a bad offense. If they can't put up 30 against the Jets, good luck in the playoffs. They'll need it!
I agree with all that.
Goff isn’t good enough to operate behind a subpar OL. Not many QBs are. Not even Brees, that’s why the saints always give him big physical quality OL, especially a great Center.
The Rams have a QB that needs a lot of help to excel. Blythe is a huge liability against big physical DTs. That just won’t work with a drop back QB like Goff.
