That coach loses because he plays not to lose

The coach seems to be a great guy but costs the team 3-5 wins a season where they have the momentum and he goes in turtle mode and lets the other team catch up and win in the end.

My son is a Charger fan and the stories he tells me about these losses that appear games where the Chargers are in control are shocking.
