I like the Aikman comparison, I was thinking a better Bulger, with elite talent around him, he can keep the train moving. Aikman is a much more favorable comparison, higher ceiling, floor and legacy.Quote

Almost identical college QB Ratings . Aikman - 142.3, Goff - 144
NFL - Career QB Ratings Aikman - 81.6 Goff - 92.1
Aikman and the Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls with Aikman at QB. He had some less than stellar play much like Goff. 5 out of 11 seasons < . 500 record. He played for 12 seasons. Had more interceptions than touchdowns in 4 out of 12 seasons.
Aikman made the HOF with those stats. There is still hope for Goff.
I have heard the Goff/Aikman comparison for a while now and it does give hope that Goff could be on his way to a great career, still.
I'm not sure in this day and age if one Super Bowl win would be enough to get Goff to Canton, it probably would actually take three wins to get in, like Aikman did, with comparable stats.
Go Rams!
