Aikman and the Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls with Aikman at QB. He had some less than stellar play much like Goff. 5 out of 11 seasons < . 500 record. He played for 12 seasons. Had more interceptions than touchdowns in 4 out of 12 seasons.
Aikman made the HOF with those stats. There is still hope for Goff.
I really don't think Aikman got into the HOF on merit. Jerry made that happen behind the scenes.
