At the point when I completely lost faith in him was this year after 2nd 49ers loss at that point he has 3 horrible games out of 11 or 27% of the times this year he looked really bad. He has looked better the last two games to me and we can win with this Jared but I'm not saying he can throw us out of games as I have been burned before with this logic. I want to see some consistency all year and Into the playoffs before I hop back on the Goff hype train. This analysis of Goff goes all the way back to the lions game of 2018 and into the playoffs until now. That was the turning point for me where I was still high on Goff but was starting to pay attention to the mistakes and inconsistent play. Because we we're winning it masked some of the problems that would develop over to 2019 and some of 2020. If Goff could finish up this year and amend his past playoff woes I will give him more credit. And yes I know he took us to the Superbowl but his playoff performances have been very spotty. New orleans was a tough gritty performance but it took a lot to get that win and yes Goff was part of it. And you can have a not so great statistical game and just make some plays when needed the most and still be considered a good game.
