When you looked at their last redzone plays after the defense took it to the 5 line you saw a super blitz with at least two niner rushers coming in untouched.
Allen backpedalled quickly and threw from ten yards back. If he did not have such quick feet he would have been destroyed.
I do not think it has to do with our receivers, it is the bad combo of lack of design for extreme rush and having a less mobile and somewhat unaware QB.
The design has been adjusted as seen in our last two games. We are finally making teams pay for cover zero, better late than never.
I wish we could play the niners again this season, but looks like they are not going anywhere past the regular season.
