Essentially with the same personnel, Staley is doing amazing things with his scheme and mindset. All due respect to Wade, but I'm starting to wonder what was really going on last year on that side of the ball from a coaching standpoint... Thoughts?

Actually, it’s not really the same personnel.

Gone from Wade’s unit:

Fowler
Matthews
Littleton
NRC
Weddle

That’s 5 starters there under Wade.

In on Staley’s unit:

Floyd
Lewis, Hollins, Ebu, Obo, and maybe Rivers down the road.
Kiser/Reeder
Hill (for NRC)
Williams (for Hill)
Fuller
ARob

The above is a ton of change from one system to another. And I think Staley deserves full credit for making these changes to better implement his schemes.

Plus, while Ramsey is not technically new to the Ram D, it is also true that Staley is using him FAR more creatively.

I was ready to move on from Wade at least a year sooner than McVay. And Staley was obviously a HR hire.

It was Wade and a lot of dead weight and CRAP efforts.
