We are primarily a quarters zone unit that disguises and mixes in man with some varied looks to great effect with strong corners. And the 3-4 means you have two ILBs splitting the field on run downs (vs requiring a MLB to cover the entire area) so you can get away with the bigger types who would get exposed running with TEs and RBs let alone the WRs in certain looks. Their job is to get good drops and help snuff out crossers and quick pivot routes with quick tackles and or just get in the way.
Reeder has done a good job just like Kiser was doing before he got hurt. I'm impressed with these guys. And Reeder is a physical backer. The guy is not afraid of contact with linemen and can hold his own, not a great athlete but in this scheme that's ok.
