I've thought for the last 3 years the Rams should have a QB to provide real competition for Goff. Some athletes play better when they know there is another player there that could take their place. Goff has had no competition! The Rams should have someone anyway in case of injuries. I'm not putting all the blame on yesterday's loss on Goff, there is plenty of blame to go around (McVay can't outcoach Shanahan). I like Goff and want him to succeed but I really think the Rams have to provide competition at the position just like they do at most of the other positions.
