Speed doesn't hate Goff. He is critical at times, but IMO he is fair in his criticism since he also offers praise when it is warranted.
Some examples from the TB game, all from various Speed posts either during the game or shortly thereafter:
"excellent pass by Goff under pressure"
"excellent move by Goff to get away from pressure"
"the Bucs 4 man pressure isnt getting close to Goff Goff is eating that coverage alive and its easy pitch and catch"
"... he made some great throws too and avoided pressure with his legs. Made a really nice throw to Kupp on that final FG drive rolling to his right and throwing downfield on the run."
"this is easily his best game under pressure since I have been keeping track of this rating. Good job Jared"
"I hate the way people piled on Jared Goff saying he sucks (he obviously doesn't)..."
"That screen to Woods was a thing of beauty and then for them to get linked up and clock it in time to kick that FG was outstanding!! Great job by Goff there too."
There may be more, I didn't want to go crazy looking. But the point is Speed reports what he sees, good or bad.
