Perhaps I misunderstood you, but that statement above told me that you were blaming Goff for all the losses.

I am not trying to misrepresent you, that's simply how I understood your statement. Like you, I hate it when people take my words out of context, build a strawman, and then knock it down. It's disingenuous.

Also, I know you to be an intelligent poster so I thought to myself that maybe it was a bit over the top and that you didn't mean that, or mean it the way I understood it. That's why I wrote: "I have to disagree that Goff was a train wreck or that he was to blame for all the losses. Maybe Max was stating his case against Goff too strongly."

If I did misunderstand your point then perhaps we have no strong disagreement. That's one of the problems with simple and short text comm., it is easy to misunderstand, or not express a point clearly. I think we all have had both of those situations.

My disagreement with you and 43 is not all or nothing, it is in matter of degree.
