I have a thought on the Rams non-existent run game vs Bucs.
The Bucs ‘sold out’ to stop it, often with 9 men in the box.
Bowles apparently wanted to take away the run and force Goff to beat him when under pressure. Bowles also dialed up blitzes early to harass Goff to force errors.
Problem for Bowles is that Rams OL and Goff destroyed that strategy (probably already anticipated by McVay, btw) and we all saw the results.
Rest of the league now has to go back to the drawing board to find another way to stop this Ram O.
