I'm just seeing it like if a guy shakes your hand but it is just a gesture with no feeling behind it it's fake....it may be a tradition to shake someone's hand, but IMO that tradition should be meant in a really honest way.....you shake and say great game, we played our best, you guys out did us....or you can shake a guys hand and under your breath are saying what a bi%$# you are and you suck.....The later kinda makes the handshake a mere formality, which IMO takes away from any tradition meant by the handshaking.
I understand your position, Roman. I hate hypocrisy myself.
But I still think it is a courtesy and should be done by athletes after a game, win or lose. Kids are watching, for one thing.
I have little respect for an athlete that chooses to disrespect a victorious opponent so publicly. Period.
I was not a big Brady fan before but I am even less so now.
