As Dick Vermeil use to say, the players on the opposing team get paid too.
McVay spreads the field and creates uncertainty on the defense, Has Great space management. Sets up the other team with presnap movement. Has the defense going left when the offense is going right and vice versa. It is a breath of fresh air, but since we dropped off a little because Gurley broke down, people have lost prospective. He does things with a purpose. He may be wrong sometimes, but he attacks and his uptempo offense won the game as it had Tampa on their heals.
When you say the offense disappears for portions of the game, I chuckle, because I think, the offense disappeared for an entire decade after Martz. I can live with a couple of series a game where we punt the ball.
