we're still a little too schizophrenic for me on gameday to have confidence.
Consistency is still elusive for us this year...until I see our boys settle down and play better on offense.
Interestingly, it's the offense that gives me pause...not the defense. I always felt better about McVay's offense over the defense until THIS year. weird.
The offense gets in too many funks where they don't have an answer to to a defensive strategy....again, weird.

The defense has been a real pleasant surprise and has bent but not broken this year. I'm very impressed. btw -Don't think McVay doesn't know his offense is behind the defense...and I'd like no better situation with a competitive guy like McVay pissed off at that. McVay will do everything possible to bring the offense back to the forefront...THAT I know. That dude is as competitive as they come!!...and it bodes well for our team's future....which is now btw.
