I imagine you know what you are seeing and don't need the verification. But the combine measurables support what you are sharing. Both Henderson and Akers are extremely fast in the first 10 yards (maybe that is a trait the Rams scouts/coaches value highly). Henderson remains elite in the first 20 but Akers long speed is better. I recall Aylo's posts about Akers' sweet feet and how he earned himself a million dollars on the Duce Staley drill. It seems like we are just getting to see what Henderson can bring in his second season. Henderson looks like he has a bit more bend than I realized. We are getting glimpses of Akers' ability now that he appears to be recovering from the injury. It will be fun to see more of his game over the rest of the regular season and playoffs.
"Cam Akers ran the new 'Duce Staley Drill' at the Combine so well that I had an NFL executive text me to say they should re-name it the 'Cam Akers Drill.' I can tell you the @RamsNFL were ecstatic how things worked out; landing the lone FSU player drafted this year." - @PSchrags [

I am glad the Rams spent two 3rds on Henderson and 2nd on Akers. The RBBC protects the Rams run game (and therefore the Rams offense) against injury. The Rams have done so well in the middle of the draft. Maybe it is even fair to say the Rams have drafted well in the middle and late draft, with Sebastian Joseph-Day, possibly Travin Howard, Nick Scott, clearly Jordan Fuller and we will see if Tremayne Anchrum becomes a contributor for the Rams offensive line.
