Rams are in 3-way tie for first place in the toughest division in football.

They have a tie-breaker advantage over the Seahawks.

They control their own destiny for possible HF advantage in playoffs.

Goff put up 300+ yards today even though 3 well placed throws were not caught. That’s not counting the controversial Higbee miss, btw.

McVay rightfully called a lot of running plays to burn clock and keep Wilson off the field. The good news is that Rams have an effective running game, but it does reduce stats for Goff in the process. It was a winning decision, IMO.

Rams dominated the Seahawks today. They dominated all the various stats, including time of possession throughout. Put another way, Goff executed McVay’s gameplan well. Not the least part of McVay’s plan included heavily relying on Staley’s suffocating scoring D which seems to be getting better every danged week.

Bottom line is that a win is a win, particularly when that win is over the Seahawks.
