Hopefully the coaching staff watched plenty of game film. Play calling was the main issue.
The sack returned for a touchdown in Miami was on the coach. The offense was having an issue with the zero blitz, not just Goff. That play along with punt return for a TD was the Rams demise.
Run the ball or put a RB or TE in the backfield and maybe the strip sack doesn't happen.
Watch last weeks games Brady and Wilson were getting blown up by unblocked pass rushers which resulted in interceptions and touchdowns.
They are two of the all-time best at their positions?
According to many on here, how do you expect a "slightly above average" QB to be successful if two of the greatest failed?
The Rams were on the road playing against a rookie QB who hadn't played football in over a year. The Rams were running the ball pretty well. Why keep going to an empty backfield?
Goff was getting the crap beat out of him I doubt very many of us could take those kind of hits. I like the kid he is one tough cookie.
