You have to get "up" to be able to "collapse". Ryan hasn't been "up" in years. Where was he when the needed him in the SB? He couldn't even close it out" with a 28 pt lead.
Ryan has his share of "collapse" games. Just looking at the last 5 years, his game against the Eagles in 2016 included a completion percentage of 54.5% and a qb rating of 78. In 2017, he had 4 games with qb ratings below 80 and completion percentages in the low 50s. 2 of those games had 3 INTs each. He had a game like that (low completions, low qb rating) to open the season in 2018. He then had 4 such games in 2019, partly because his OL last year was a mess (like the Rams last year). Against the Rams last year he earned a qb rating of 60.6 after throwing an INT and fumbling twice. In those 4 2019 games combined he threw 5 TDs and 6 INTs, including one 3 INT game. This year against Chicago and Carolina, Ryan got qb ratings of 67 and 63, respectively, with completion percentages in the 50s.
