And to me it's been GB, and by a good margin. It matters how many yards an O gets, to a point; and how many the D gives up, to a point.... but no where near as much as controlling the game... TOP, consistency in every quarter, low turnovers, getting the big play at the crucial time, stopping the big plays at crucial times, dictating the tempo, quickly adapting or even completely changing up if needed, time management, all those things and more PLUS winning the 'intangibles'.
I have not seen some of the teams as much as I've seen GB... I have seen Seattle as much, and the Saints... and to me neither has 'controlled' their games like GB has. That obviously does NO mean they're at the top of their game every play in a game... when that happens with a team then end the NFL, it's been mastered.
I HAVE seen Seattle, the Saints, even TB AND THE RAMS do all that more than what I've seen from what I consider the lower tier teams... but not to the degree GB has.
Now as far as GB... I don't see a dynasty in the NFC, not even close. Starting this whole conversation, and in it, I've said I don't see a team as 'sure'. What I'm saying is that to me GB is further along in that direction.... AT THIS TIME.... and of course that's debatable. - JamesJM
