Was the CFL Kicker that bad ? I think the Jets brought him in later and that was it for him, but their incumbent Kicker is Ficken ironically. We may never know why the CFL Kicker wasnt good enough. McGinness I seen kick in that spring league AAF and he was really good and wondered about him being our Rams Kicker as we let GZ walk, but yes it was the AAF but it was still Football and he made all his clutch kicks. What isnt good enough, I sure would like to know ? They are messing around with STs and it finally cost them ( Punt Return too). That was a tough Kick for Kai Forbath a 48 yarder but many Pros make them. It was a tough look for him unfortunately as it was really really bad as it may have hit cardboard cutout. Going way back in the early 70s our Rams had a WR/K David Ray that made those kicks. I know Kai had good career stats 8th Alltime in NFL History, but the old saying is your only as good as your last time out.
