It's PFF that tells us they are used by every team.
What they DON'T tell you is what OTHER stats services every NFL team uses.
For example SportsRadar, which is the source for PFR's stats too.
And if we can show the flaws in PFF's approach to things--and they exist and they do come up in discussion--so can teams.
Which is why teams use more than ONE stat source. They're professionals, they know that you are only informed about rankings and stats if you seek diverse sources. So no TEAM would use just ONE source.
That's just some people here doing that.

Never did I say that teams use only ONE source. In fact I think I specifically said that "What they [PFF] say is not gospel but they definitely provide legit metrics that are useful."
Stated another way, they are one source that teams use. Teams wouldn't use a source at all if they thought they were a joke.
I don't believe you provided a counter to that specific point. Instead, what I took from your post was that SportsRadar, PFR, FO, etc. are also legit sources of data. I'm not disputing that.
It means that when WE use just one it's not the holy grail or direct access to high truth we often claim it is.
They aren't stats. They're
PFF's stats and grades.
If we want to actually be objective, as opposed to just wanting to be PFF advertizers, we never put a stat or grading down to just one source.
Objectivity means knowing the RANGE of different takes on important aspects of the game.
Which is why when someone says "PFF says" it's kinda interesting but also kinda leaves me cold.
What do OTHER sources say. Put em next to each other.
And remember we know all about PFF because PFF is selling itself to us.
