You know...I didn't have a problem with this.

For one, it was pretty clear by then that the Bears were having a heckuva time trying to score a TD (let alone two of them just to make the score respectable). Why not keep the clock moving by running the ball?

The other reason (and I'm surprised that you didn't touch upon it), was that Goff wasn't at his sharpest Monday night. As a matter of fact, it very much resembled his performance against San Francisco last week. Why continue passing when Goff had already narrowly missed two INT's at the end of the first half?
