as I wrote earlier.... young kid, having a great game, knowing his family was at home celebrating.... then the hammer falls. And now.... well, he isn't famous, so we wait. Had it been nearly anyone else on the roster we'd know by now.... but Burgess ain't famous, his name ain't on the tip of the tongue for anyone. Guess I'm just becoming an old softie in my old age. - JamesJM
Yeah, that was a bummer. I feel really bad for the kid. The announcers never really followed up on it either. Speaking of those announcers, they were TERRIBLE. Calling Akers Henderson and saying Robert Quinn was on the Rams last year. They appantly didn't do any pre-game study and seemed totally unprepared.
Just when I thought they couldn't do worse than Booger!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
