That 49ers team that handled the Rams and won by 12 also just went on the road and wiped out New England by 27. I think part of the story is the 49ers are not quite the damaged goods people thought.

Looking at it another way, the NFC West might have 4 of the 10 best teams in the NFL. We'll see. I would say definitely 4 of the best 13 or 14 teams.

Correction- they won by 8 a dropped TD and missed extra point were killers Censored Smiley
