I get your point but for a team like the Cowboys, who while they suck, have a better than even chance to get a playoff spot, however their OL has been decimated and have lost both their starting OT's for the year. NO ONE is giving up a starting OL ever but a top reserve can be a starter for a team with a bad line. However the Cowboys defense is at the bottom of the league so one would think that everyone is expendable on that unit. I would try to get Aldon Smith (I know he is the only bright spot on the defense and is the type of player that Jerry loves) but heck if you are the league's worst defense with him, how much worse can you get? However with a better OL maybe the Boys can score enough to mask their deficiencies on defense. If they even thought about it i would add a little draft sweetener.
