Re: PFF: Ranking all 32 QBs after Week 6

We're 19th in scoring so him being 11th in QBs is probably about right. He's definitely a top 15 QB. I didn't like his film vs SF at all, he rushed some throws when there was no need to, but he also seems to be taking great care to avoid risky throws. There were some opportunities where he pulled it down, that he would have aired out in previous seasons.

But another issue is DBs sitting on the Rams' route tendencies. I think they need to vary things a bit more, and do a better job of changing up the combinations for certain down/distances.

And lastly the wideouts have not been good. We don't have a lot of explosiveness there. I think it's going to hold this offense back from being a top unit.

IMO the way forward is polish up the run game. There were a lot of "almosts" in the Rams' run plays vs SF. Lot of plays that could have gone for really nice yardage had one guy not whiffed on his assignment. Some of it was technique too IMO, especially on the zone runs with reach blocks. This OL is good enough to sustain a strong run game I believe. The talent is there now, just gotta as I said polish it up and get your two best backs in there for the majority of snaps.
