Agreed. And overall as Rams fans we should be pretty pleased. Yes, they stubbed their toe on the 49ers game. But if they "are what they are" then the Rams should be 6-2 at their bye week which, again, everyone should be pretty pleased about...

They are one of 13 teams that are 4-2 or better. Their points differential (+38) is tied for 8th best. Analytics sites rank them 5th (ESPN FPI), 9th (FiveThirtyEight), 9th (FootballOutsiders), and 9th (PFF). And for what it's worth none of those sites has San Francisco lower than 13th. Maybe that match-up was not quite the layup many of us thought.

It's fair to call the Rams a top-10 team. Somewhere between 8th and 10th best I'd say. Six weeks in, it's not a bad place to be.... Clean up their tackling and get more consistency in the kicking game and they could be on their way to something good.
