I’m not sure McVay fully grasps the position he’s in as HC of Rams when he plays the Niners.
He thinks it’s just a division game against his grandpa's old team. He doesn’t get the intrinsic visceral venom that exists and that the Niners are gonna bring to every contest.
Those Niners were playing like their season was on the line against their most bitter rival. McVay wasn’t getting it or wasn’t fully appreciating the full extent of it.
Someone needs to make it clear to McVay that those guys up in the Bay Area will mock and laugh at him and his team with glee.
Someone needs to tell him he’s disappointing Rams fan by not acknowledging the rivalry and recognizing the intensity needed to beat them.
Frankly, I’m disappointed in him in this regard.
Because they were playing for their season in that game.....and that's what had me worried about that game.
I can't put this one on McVay though..... too many plays left on the field in that game for me to blame the coach
