I would think the tackling issue is among the most important areas to address if I were in the press.
It is not good.
It costs them dearly and while it is about angles and positioning and teamwork, it is also about sticking your body in there and gang tackling players to the ground. It is about football toughness 101.
And the Rams are lacking there.
How do they address that? You can give your press conference answers, but I would hope Staley and Co. are addressing the lack of commitment to tackling. In my opinion, are you going to possibly man up more and tackle better? I think it is a major issue.
Football is a brutal sport and these guys are very tough, but tackling wise?
I don't see it sometimes.
