I will preface this, by saying that I didn't watch much of the game (was mostly watching the Dodger game), but when I was watching, it sure looked like McVay came out almost exclusively passing and didn't deviate much for the entire game. Looking at the box score, the Rams only had 16 rushes from the RBs for the entire game, meanwhile JG had 38 pass attempts.
I did see the drive where Henderson carried us down the field, but there were back to back passes to finish out that drive...I hated the play call on 4th and goal. This seemed very similar to some of McVay's offensive play calling in some of the games during the first half of the season last year.
Again, I have to watch the whole game, but from what I saw I thought that this was McVay's worst game play calling wise. I'm sure the players made mistakes too (saw the Kupp drop), but some of this loss has to land with McVay IMHO.
Anyone have any thoughts on this.
