We didn't bring it. The players looked flat. But still, in the end - we were one stop from a chance to maybe tie. It was a letdown for sure, but it happens. Ask the Packers. Or Patriots. Or chiefs 2 weeks ago. A lot of this board seems to be of the opinion that after last night - McVay and Staley have no idea what they're doing. Goff is a disaster. Kupp is terrible (really?) Chicago is going to destroy us, and on and on. On paper it looked like the 9ers were reeling. But as Berman uses to say - 'that's why they play the games'. What happens one week doesn't always translate to the next. The Dolphins buried the 9ers, that has nothing to do with the game yesterday. Extrapolating past results against different teams into future games is not sound. (Unless you're playing the Jets - then yes!) I'm not going into the Bears game 'knowing' they will destroy us. If you're so certain of the outcome - put some big money on it, maybe you'll get rich.
