It seemed by half time I really could barely expect us to win and the loss irritated me but I was like almost happy we lost that game because we been spending times with all these metrics and stats but forgetting that we must play the games. Staley botched this defensive scheme. leaving so much open space for WR and RB to get first downs. If it were not for some horrid throws and drops we could have been beaten by double the margin easily.
I will not have full confidence or take this team seriously until we 1 get rid of Sloman and 2 start playing our game with some consistency. So much for that word. Means we will have to win the next 3 games before I will have any confidence in our seasons viability.
Everytime I try and get excited about this team the remind me with a Sloman error that we are going nowhere with a subpar kicking game pair with the team we have now on offense and defense.
The key to beating us is slow and beat our offense in the 1st half and force us to kick field goals. 6 point is 2 field goals so Teams know that we will not even make all our extra points.
