I don't know Why but on look at Helmet and I thought of Tom Mack and Dennis Harrah.
Two great player and very unique men.
Slater and Harrah were a great pair .
Mack was paired with Charlie Cowan ,Kenny Iman, Rich Saul , Doug France and John Williams mainly.
Then Doug Smith came in and Kent Hill As well around the time Slater got in.
Man we had some great OLs.
Irv Panky and crowd Fav Bill Bain deserve mention as well.
Two or three of those guys where Pro Bowl Caliber every year.
Imagine that quality now.
Yep that quality up front is foundational to winning and being in a race every year.
That 70's helmet brings me back.
