He has made several for the Rams. Yeah he missed one. But I truly think you have to give a rookie time to acclimate to the NFL. As McVay says: so often you get a rookie, he doesn't do as well as you want, you cut him, and next year he shows up on another team and does very well. So they intend on having patience.
That said: I'm not sure what they might do if the Rams don't see continued improvement. Or, should the Rams get to the NFC Championship game, are they willing to go with Sloman for that and the Superbowl?
Tough decision.
