Just a few things I want to say.
First, I'm truly sorry for Dak, who is a good guy. A good football player and leader. Really tough injury.
Second, there is always an increased risk for QBs who like to run. They may make great plays, but also put themselves in greater danger.
Third, as for the money. He was offered enormous money. Turned it down. Wanted more. That's his business. Probably is going to be thinking about that a lot as he lays in his bed and during what is going to be a very long recovery.
Fourth, whenever he comes back..... 2021, 2022, whatever, is he ever going to be the same? And even if he is physically fit, is he going to want to run very much? And since running is a huge part of his game, doesn't that greatly diminish his value?
