It's just that...there had been questions about how the Rams were going to stretch the field in the absence of Cooks. First, it was speculated that Reynolds could be effective. Then the draft came and we heard how Jefferson had the fastest top-end speed at the Senior Bowl...so maybe it could be him.
To top it off...Goff has received pretty good O-line protection thus far.
So, I guess I just expected to see McGoff chunk it up there a couple of times to see if VJ could use his speed...or Reynolds' size.
