One could argue that Jared Goff was just as good as Josh Allen on Sunday....he threw for basically the same stats and lead his team back from a 25 point deficit to lead.....yet no one was talking about his performance. Allen gets bailed out on 4th down and now he is the best qb in the league? Did anyone in the media even notice Goff passing for 300 plus yards and leading his team on a 97 yard drive down by double digits? I guess the difference was he didn't get into 3rd and 25 situation much and converted it for 1st downs...But alot of that was on Allen running backwards and getting sacked.
Allen is getting more love because his team won and his TD pass won it w/seconds left on the clock.
But Jared is getting plenty of love. Nothing like leading the team form 25 down to make people take notice....
