Rapp seems to be hot and cold might turn out to be nothing more than a depth player. Long - there are spots to be taken and he hasn't been able to step up and grab one. Doesn't seem to do much when he does play. Gaines seems like a seat-filler. Hard to tell when he's even playing.
I know it's early but this is year 2 for these guys and you see a guy like Henderson make a big step up and wonder what's wrong with the rest of the class.
Draft classes are supposed to be judged after 3 years.
I've never understood pronouncements on individual picks after their rookie season or on entire classes 2 games into the 2nd season. Head scratching type stuff to me.
Rapp was very good last year. After missing most of TC and the implementation of the new DC's scheme, he may or may not, earn more playing time this year. But it's too early to make a pronouncement now.
Long could easily be a starter next year if Hill leaves. Something is not necessarily wrong with him just because a more experienced player starts in front of him.
Same with Edwards and Evans. Their time will come. When it does, it remains to be seen whether they will step up and earn a starting position. But literally 3 games after their rookie seasons is very premature to judge.
