obviously... as the season progresses. McVay WILL have games where is pregame strategy is not as dead on the money as it has been so far.... so Goff will, again obviously, have to be able to handle break-downs and pressure far more than he's been exposed to so far. And all that even IF the OL continues to play well.
I think this is where I perhaps put less emphasis on last year as some... 2019 exposed us, but not to the degree where I doubt McVay, Goff, and the team being able to handle it.
I'm hesitant to call it an 'alternate' plan should things go awry in any given game but I do think part of McVay's 'learning', (if you will), is to be more prepared for nearly anything.
