I don't want or respect 'help'. At least when it comes to football, the Rams. I want them to win with zero caveats. While sure, without question, I will take ANY win there is - - - - , in my mind there something LESS about a victory in which the Ram's are at full strength and the opponent is missing 5 starters. I don't think it's a 'bad' win, (there is no such thing)... but it is less to me and not as, for lack of a better word, "noble" as beating a team at their best. Same with:

Another team winning, or losing, to advance the Rams... with the Ram's as mere onlookers. Again.. YES YES YES, I take it, I jump for joy... but it IS 'less' to me.

Put it this way.... it is no where near as satisfying to me to have NE beating Seattle this weekend to end up being the 'key' to the Ram's making the playoff this year as it is for the Ram's to make the playoffs this year regardless of how Seattle fares against NE this weekend.

Now so far I don't think many would disagree with this, if anyone would... BUT... for me, especially after one game... I don't think in those 'it's help' terms, while recognizing that it IS help... at this time I'm thinking... "Go ahead and beat NE, Seattle... it isn't going to matter because the Rams are going to kick your ass regardless".
