For sure, Hopkins improves the Cards.

However, it was one game and especially in this weird season, game 1 was always going to be a toss up. Not saying the Cards won't be better this year. But one game is not a good enough sample size.

Remember: The Rams started last year 3 - 0. And then only wound up winning 6 more the rest of the way and getting dismantled in a couple of the losses.
