Ramsey was in his pocket, it was going to be a contested ball. The receiver extended his arm to get room and you could see Ramsey’s right shoulder moving back as he was being kept away. No acting. Ramsey didn’t fall away immediately or give up and as a result the push was prolonged by the receiver, which made it an easier call. Often a bump or single push is not noticed or called. This was more than that it continued for several steps and throughout the play. It was damn good coverage and a clear penalty in my mind. Glad they called it, it would have been a travisity had they not. The defense only gave up a field goal after the blatant penalty committed by Smith when he struck Goff in the head. That was a horrific missed call, but the defense saved the day!
