It’s true that the Rams lost some ‘big name’ players.
But the loss of the ‘19 Gurley and Cooks was not much of a loss at all.
Nor was the loss of the ‘19 Wade Or Fassell. GZ last year was disappointing, too.
So, it came down to losing Littleton (and his so-so run D) and Fowler. Fowler being replaced by Floyd who is better at dropping into coverage.
Meanwhile, the OL comes back with a healthy Whit, Hav, Noteboom, and Blythe. Not to mention that they had much better OL depth behind them.
Plus a very promising draft including Akers, Jefferson, and Fuller that contributed significantly on opening day.
All these ‘new’ players are gonna get better and better as they gel together.
I’ll say it again. Many pundits were ignoring evidence of Ram improvements right under their nose. Happens with different teams every year.
My only concern was with the OL and they passed that test at least last night. I wouldn’t be surprised if that entire OL had been chomping at the bit after hearing of all the pundits doubters. Lol.
