I never got a chance to see Xavier's tape, but an endorsement from AD never hurt anyone chances. Interesting about whether they lean on preseason results vs veteran "knowledge." I'd lean on Xavier for now.
TBH, I am surprised that Edwards wasn't closer to the starter's group. Maybe I'm more surprised that Demby somehow still has a locker.
The one thing that has my eye is the front 7. Howard and Robinson's absence creates an opportunity for the club to be shopping the waiver wire.
Would not mind having another big body in the rotation, and not sure I want safety hybrids rolling inside to stop the run all game long.

Cringe? Selecting the kicker sounds straightforward. However, lamenting a missed FG at the buzzer in Seattle certainly remains the buzz kill for 2019.
I don't think they'll be any surprises for me in the cuts.
