I think obviously Reynolds will end up elsewhere in 2021. Whether he in fact gets signed to be a starter somewhere is very much TBD. Hope he does, seems like a good kid. But if the Draft is deep again at WR he may just be brought in as a WR3 or WR4 somewhere.
Anyway, my main point is I definitely wouldn't trade him. As good as the early returns apparently are on Jefferson does he know the offense as well as Reynolds right now? Likely not. I think there is a role for both early in the season with Jefferson earning more snaps as the year goes on. But the value of Reynolds as depth to me is greater than getting maybe a 7th round pick in a trade. To get any sort of compensatory pick if/when he leaves he'd have to get $4M/year or more. Again, I hope he gets it somewhere. But he might not.
