Saturday night was a big step in training camp for the Los Angeles Rams, holding their first scrimmage of the summer at SoFi Stadium. It was a more competitive environment than a typical practice, allowing players to go up against each other in more of a game-type setting.
There was no tackling allowed, but that didn’t stop several players from standing out for all the right reasons. Position battles heated up, specifically at running back and kicker, with players beginning to pull ahead of their competition.
With a few weeks of camp in the books and the all-important first scrimmage wrapped up, we’ve put together a new 53-man roster projection. There are a few changes from our last projection, including one fewer quarterback making the team, an additional running back and a switch at kicker.
