Tend to forget, or just forgotten outright how much area Inglewood has out towards Century Blvd
After the big Superbowl "send off" at the SoFi property I drove out the "south side" and it's still a visual of 1950s / postwar era frontage out there.
With all developments there's bumps and bruises. Old family owned establishments vs the need to bring new investment into an area.
That said, I though the 105 Fwy was closer to the stadium than it is. They were talking about rapid transit of some sort to tie in the "C" line or Green Metro train to the stadium. It's a solid Mile and a Half from that train station up to the stadium. It's not a comfy walk. It can get plenty hot out that way. Flat, flat and exposed.
One wonders if they plan a "green" planting along Prairie Av.
And yeah........always thought that they weren't truly going to have the stadium fit and finished by the time the Taylor Swift Concerts were to have happened.
Don't misread me: I intend to be in the building when the opening finally occurs.
