This scheme demands a bit more from the ends than Wade's scheme did. One of the elements is quick drops by the ends in certain passing situations to block short passing lanes.
Also the Fangio defense is known for mixing things up schematically depending on the opponent, vice playing your scheme straight-up like Wade did. This means he's going to need to know much more than just rushing the passer, he's gonna have to understand the scheme and make good reads.
I admit I'm cool at best on this dude. I don't like his history of injury and I don't like his film in terms of consistency when he was healthy. Hopefully I am wrong on him, but in terms of projecting him for helping us out this season I think it's a longshot.
