I dunno, ferragamo. While I also value experience, I value playmaking and talent even more.

For example, to use your 3 players:

Hill. Nice player who had a good ‘!9 season in relief. Basically a zone CB while Staley prefers more man coverage. The biggest thing, though, is I consider Williams a better CB, especially in man. Heck, I expect Williams to beat out Hill at some point this year.

Brown. A 3rd stringer at best, and an oft injured one right when we need him most, at that. A UDFA RB might well become an upgrade to Brown and at a more attractive price. Gotta keep going with young and fresh legs at RB because they have such a short shelf life.

Mundt. McVay loves his blocking, but they’ve been pretty happy with Blanton, too, and we all know that Hopkins looks like the 2nd stringer in ‘21.

Bottom line? All 3 of those mentioned vets could find themselves riding the pine this year due to superior play from the younger and more inexpensive backups.

And there may be others (such as Reynolds vs Jefferson). Heck, OL is still being written in pencil.
